Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gtidy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers, merchants, and contributors of content.

2. Description of Service

Gtidy is an email management service that helps users clean their Gmail inbox. The Service provides:

  • Search functionality to find emails in your Gmail account
  • Bulk email deletion capabilities
  • Access to Gmail's native categories (as provided by Gmail)

Note: Gtidy does not use artificial intelligence to automate or categorize emails. Any categories displayed are those provided by Gmail itself.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Google Account Connection

To use Gtidy, you must connect your Gmail account using Google OAuth 2.0 authentication. By connecting your account, you:

  • Represent that you are the owner of the Gmail account or have authorization to access it
  • Grant Gtidy permission to access your Gmail account for the purpose of searching and deleting emails
  • Understand that Gtidy uses read-only permissions and does not store your password
  • Agree to maintain the security of your Google account credentials

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Gtidy only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts, systems, or networks
  • Use the Service to send spam, phishing emails, or any malicious content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our express written consent
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

5. Email Deletion and Data Loss

Important: Gtidy can permanently delete emails from your Gmail account. By using the Service:

  • You understand that deleted emails may be permanently removed and cannot be recovered after Gmail's 30-day recovery window
  • You are responsible for reviewing cleanup actions before execution
  • You acknowledge that you are responsible for selecting which emails to delete
  • You agree that Gtidy is not responsible for any data loss resulting from your use of the Service
  • You are responsible for backing up important emails before using cleanup features

Gtidy works with Gmail's native undo feature, allowing you to recover deleted emails within 30 seconds of deletion. After this period, recovery may not be possible.

6. Subscription and Payment Terms

6.1 Free Tier

The Free Tier allows you to clean up to 10 emails per day. This tier is provided "as is" and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

6.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions (Weekly Subscription and Lifetime Purchase) provide additional features:

  • All subscription fees are charged in advance
  • Weekly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Lifetime purchases are one-time payments with no recurring charges
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

7. Service Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice
  • Change features, functionality, or pricing of the Service
  • Impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Service
  • Perform maintenance that may temporarily interrupt Service availability

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from Service modifications, interruptions, or discontinuation.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Gtidy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software, unless laws prohibit those restrictions or you have our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Warranties that defects will be corrected or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GTIDY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or other intangible losses
  • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Damages resulting from deletion of emails or data loss

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gtidy, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Non-payment of subscription fees
  • Extended periods of account inactivity

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may terminate your account at any time by disconnecting your Gmail account through Google account settings or by contacting us.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Gtidy operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
